Jim Schneller, candidate for the 7th District Congressional seat, reacts to the statement from the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office that an investigation has been initiated regarding the Jim for Congress nomination petition.

"This is the lowest form of utilization of government office for personal advancement and personal gain.  Pennsylvania has seen a sad day in leadership with this announcement.  I demand immediate release to the public of the number of signatures claimed to be errant and why, and I demand immediate action, not delayed action."

" This is a statement by the Commonwealth's highest ranking law enforcement office.  Right before our eyes, the Attorney General is treating serious ballot questions as a personal agenda.  The conflict of interest is blatant.  This is why we're asking that an impartial County District Attorney also investigate."

" Pennsylvanians of any persuasion should be angered by this type of behavior.  We recommend their voicing their concern to their leaders immediately.  I have yet to even be served a copy of the "citizen complaint" that apparently originated in Delaware County, but it was filed by sore losers and so is highly suspect.  The entire claim reeks of 'good' press based on bad information."

" We have built public knowledge of this bias and obstructionism into the claim we have lodged with the Commonwealth Court, naming anti-independent bias as a reason for demanding that the Department of State perform their function along with law enforcement.  This is hugely feasible of action even without the Attorney General's completion of their task. "

" Our case in no way requires that the Attorney General investigation be a first step, but rather, requests that the Court order whichever course of action is most effective in this urgent situation.   This is why the GOP and their installed Attorney General have reacted with rumor and emotion, because our case stands to reduce the ballot to a race without their candidate."

" Both the GOP and the Democrats are making serious errors by  infringing on the Jim for Congress campaign, and are taking liberties with the public's Constitutional rights to an open and unrestricted vote. What better reason to vote for the candidate who stands for principle and integrity, and who promises to maintain that plank for the duration of his service to this District !"

"Innuendo by the GOP that the Jim for Congress candidacy is a spoiler cooked up to assist the Democrat vote are pure fiction, as anyone who has met Jim Schneller will attest without doubt.  Perhaps the attorneys who Jim Schneller battled with, in the recent signature challenge, are afraid to tell party leadership about the real situation."

" As with a 3-way race, if Patrick Meehan's papers are ordered stricken and his candidacy ended, the 7th District 2-way race will be enlightening and revealing, and Jim Schneller will be elected  Representative in Congress.   Jim urges voters to ignore the polls, because polls do not tell the truth, and we often vote based on polls when they actually have been falsely adjusted to wrongly influence the public. "
